Who Am I?
My name is Rachel Johnson and I am 22 years old. This past summer I got married to my wonderful husband, Clint Johnson. We both are at Utah Valley University (UVU) studying computers. My major, specifically, is digital media and I plan to graduate this December. What I'm Blogging About
I decided to start this blog, because I feel that when new students come to UVU it can be difficult to navigate through all the websites especially UVLink. On this blog, I will be sharing what I have learned about UVLink and how to navigate through some of the great features it has. I will mostly be focusing on the features you can do on the student tab. I also welcome any comments or suggestions to help make this blog better and more useful.By learning how to navigate through UVLink, students can get the information needed to be successful at UVU. UVLink is meant to be a tool for students to use while attending UVU. There is no right or wrong way to use UVLink. The hard part is just finding what you want. I feel UVLink was designed poorly for students trying to use it, especially for the first time. I just want to help you get familiar with how it works and where everything is located.
One of the most powerful tools in UVLink is the student tab. This is where I feel the ‘meat’ of UVLink is. There are so many cool features you can use from here that most people I've talked to don’t even know exist. If you can get familiar with this section of UVLink you will be that much better off at UVU.
I do not claim that I know everything about UVLink, I am still learning about new features all the time. If you have any comments or suggestions I would love to hear from you. Also, if you know of a great feature you can use in UVLink that I don’t know of, you are welcome to message me and maybe write the next article for this blog.
I want this blog to be a helpful tool for all students attending UVU, so I will try my best to provide information that is helpful. I feel UVLink is important for all UVU students to understand how to navigate through and use. But students will not be able to fully utilize UVLink without some guidance. My purpose is to provide this assistance in a way that will be most useful to you.
